Sell your tickets, at a price that suits your crowd. Examples might be:
 
Sell 40 tickets @ $5 per ticket = $200 income
Prize = $50
Proceeds = $150
 
Sell 40 tickets @ $10 per ticket = $400 income
Prize = Sponsored product
Proceeds = $400
 
The winning number is often linked to the Bonus Number on the nominated Lotto Draw Day; however, you can randomly draw any number from 1-40 using a barrel or random number generator.
 
Traditionally sold at $2, $5 or $10 per ticket, but the choice is yours depending on your fundraising purpose.
